Stress-free make-up – The best make-up tricks

Hi girls!
Do you have time to do your make-up in the morning? Do you, in a hurry, try to make your look appear as rested and the whole face to seem radiant? Perhaps you tried to contour the face and ended up with big dark blobs on the cheeks? Allow me to share some tricks by celebrity make-up artists, which are great ideas to make your make-up easier than ever and to shorten its performance time. How to look stunning in just one moment? Let me tell you all about it!

The best make-up tricks

  1. Beige pencil on the waterline – to get bigger eyes
By the time you finish your make-up just apply the pencil to the lower waterline to optically make eyes bigger and ensure fresh, rested appearance. In other words, two inconspicuous lines can make you look like you slept for a week.
  2. Mattifying lipstick is a waste of money
Yeah, really. It not only isn’t long-wearing but also tends to gather in the creases and dry out the lips. On top of it all, after a few hours, it is like a parched shell. The best option I know is to transform regular moisturizing lipstick into a mattifying one. The lips will be constantly moisturized and taken care of and you gain the desired matte effect. The only thing you have to do is to apply translucent powder to the lips. The lipstick you wear will mattify and additionally can stay for long hours. Besides, if you observe that matte starts to lessen, you do not need another layer of lipstick just a bit of powder.
  3. Twice as intense highlighter and glossy surface
Before you proceed to apply highlighter, spray the bush with a make-up fixer. Only then take some highlighter on the brush and tap it in the skin. This trick will make the highlighter effect more intense and long-lasting. I do this for highlighter but also many eyeshadows. If you currently out of fixer, you can use floral water or regular tap water instead. Obviously, a fixer will ensure a more long-lasting effect, but even the water can boost the highlighter effect on the cheeks.
  4. Contouring is your nightmare?
Here’s a fast way to contour the face without the stain-like effect on the cheeks. You need something long and rectangular, place e.g. eyeshadow palette under the cheekbone and with a wide brush start to apply the product to the cheek over the palette. When you take away the palette you’ll gain a perfectly straight line instead of smudge blob.
  5. Make-up removal is difficult and tiresome?
Combine your make-up removal with skincare and face cleanse – instead of basic micellar water go for omega acids power and rejuvenating flavanoids! Try OCM, which is the Oil Cleansing Method. Cosmetic oils need to be natural, unrefined and among them should be castor oil. Mix the oils and apply them to the face massaging it gently. Oils will dissolve EVERY type of make-up, even water-resistant one. It’s an ingenious trick that at the same time can:

    • deeply cleanse the skin and close pores
    • perfectly remove every make-up
    • revitalize, nourish and rejuvenate the skin
  6. Does skin shine an hour from doing the make-up?
The solution is blotting paper, but what can you do if you just run out of it? Then the rescue can be regular tissues, paper towels or napkins – separate it into thin layers and one of them press against areas where sebum is most prominent. The tissue will get rid of the sebum and your face will once again be matte and flawless.
