The best hair care gadgets? I have my TOP 6 that I wish to share with you in this post. Enjoy!
You sometimes compliment on my hair, ask about my hairstyle inspirations and what I do so my strands look the way they do. The answer is simple: I test new solutions and interesting hair gadgets. Let me first point out that not every test ends in success but there are a few things that I can’t imagine my day-to-day hair care without.
Here are my TOP 6 HAIR GADGETS. Each one is briefly described so you know what to expect and if it’s a solution that works for you and your hairdo.
THE BEST HAIR CARE GADGETS
1. Thermal hair cap
There are various caps you can choose from and a shower cap protecting hair from humidity is probably the most popular one. I want to draw your attention to thermal caps – wrongly underrated, they take hair care to the next level.
How does a hot hair cap work? It’s quite simple: applied to hair covered in e.g. a mask or oil it creates perfect conditions for an effective treatment. It holds the temperature and humidity which enhance the absorption of ingredients in the hair.
2. Plush headband
Another suggestion combines a practical accessory with charming look – a headband keeping strands from falling on the face e.g. when your hair’s covered in a mask. You can find it in various versions (I’ve got soft Glov Bunny Ears Pink) e.g. bunny ears, plush bows, etc.
What can you use a headband for? Apart from being soft, comfortable and nice, it protects hair from oily products you apply to face skin.
3. Soft hair wrap turban with button closure
I’m sure you already know that air-drying is the best for hair. Wrap hair in a towel which absorbs water and leave it on for a couple of minutes. Too bad it’s sometimes hard to get the turban nice and neat on the head, right? Here comes my next stunning gadget i.e. microfiber hair wrap turban with a button for easy closure. Fast, comfy, no towel falling off.
4. Metal containers for DIY products
My top hair care gadget list must include metal jars for storing my DIY treatments. It’s simply a useful thing – I’ve got a few of them, different types and sizes. Thanks to them I don’t need to throw out my product if I have some left after a single use.
5. Velvet and sateen hair scrunchies
A thick scrunchie is another gadget that I can’t do without. Big, soft ties are perfect for creating a beautiful bun, ponytail or a braid with a lovely finish. My collection features various velvet and sateen scrunchies and even a silky one!
Why I list scrunchies here? Do they affect hair’s appearance? Such scrunchies are strong competition for Invisibobble because they are soft, glide smoothly on hair, look lovey, not pulling out hair or holding it too tight. To me it’s like a return to the 90s when big massive scrunchies were in.
6. Scalp massaging tool
Last but not least! My personal hair care jewel: a scalp massager which looks like an egg beater. I’m serious! It looks weird and I look strange when using it but it WORKS WONDERS. It’s both a form of relaxation and scalp microcirculation booster. This in turn helps achieve stronger, healthier and fuller-looking hair.
